With great joy, the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth, Bangalore Province, solemnly celebrated the Perpetual Vows of Sisters Alisha Anthony and Florina Joseph on March 8, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at Nazareth Convent, Chandapura, Bangalore. Most Rev. Bishop Thomas D’Souza of the Diocese of Vasai celebrated the Holy Eucharist, and other priests joined him in praying for our sisters.

During the Holy Mass, Sister Jackulin Jesu, president of the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth, received the Perpetual Vows of the sisters on behalf of the SCN Congregation. The ceremony was filled with grace as the Sisters committed themselves fully to God through the SCN Congregation, professing the vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience.

It was a great joy to have the presence of Sister Jackulin Jesu, representing the Central Leadership Team, and Sister Leena Padam, representing the Patna Province, and present as a family member. The parents and relatives of the Sisters, SCNs, SCNAs, and members of other religious communities witnessed and celebrated the final commitment to religious life made by Sisters Alisha Anthony and Florina Joseph.

The celebration concluded with congratulations and prayers for Sisters Alisha Anthony and Florina Joseph, asking God to bless their missionary journey and faithful service in the Congregation. After the Eucharistic celebration, the Bangalore Province Leadership honored Most Rev. Bishop Thomas D’Souza and Sister Jackulin Jesu for their presence at the Perpetual Vows ceremony.

The Bangalore Province also extends its gratitude to all the sisters who supported us through their prayers. The Province requests you to continue to keep our sisters in your prayers as they journey in service through the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth.
