Corporate Voice: Aug. 23 marks International Day for the Remembrance of the Slave Trade and its Abolition. Contemplate how slavery has been a part of your country’s history and who today is still considered to be “enslaved.” More information on the day is located at unesco.org.
Silver Jubilee Celebration: A Silver Jubilee celebration will be held for Higinia Bol, SCN, on Sunday, Aug. 23, at Nazareth. Mass will begin in St. Vincent Church at 10:30 a.m. and will be streamed at nazareth.org/live. A festive meal will follow in the Motherhouse Dining Room.
