Nazareth volunteers are in Philadelphia for an extended weekend, working alongside the Community of St. James. After arriving safely Thursday, the group began Friday by welcoming students to St. James School and joining them for Mass.
Volunteers then headed into the surrounding neighborhood to help an older resident clean and spruce up the front of their home. Their day also included time at The Welcome Table, a community ministry that provides food, fellowship, and support to neighbors in need.
Please keep the volunteers and the St. James community in your prayers as their work continues this weekend. May their time together bring new friendships, encouragement, and opportunities to share Christ’s love through care for one another.
