Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity were invited to the February 2-6, 2026 Busy Student Retreat at Texas A & M St. Mary’s Catholic Center College Station (also known as Aggieland because of the close-knit communities of College Station and Bryton, Texas!). A Busy Student Retreat is an annual retreat aimed at teaching students how to maintain a relationship with Christ in the midst of a hectic schedule. St. Mary’s invites priests and religious sisters from around the country to visit and give daily personal spiritual direction with students.
This week focuses entirely on forming and growing each student’s personal prayer life without ever leaving College Station. All of these activities are completed when best convenient for the student’s schedule for each day of the retreat. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to focus more on their prayer life and how to implement faith in their busy daily routines.
